Himalayan salt

An element of healthy diet

THE HIMALAYAN SALT, NATIVE TO PUNJAB REGION, IN MAJORITY CONSISTS OF SODIUM CHLORIDE. HOWEVER, IT CONTAINS TRACE AMOUNTS OF ELEMENTS, SUCH AS POTASSIUM, MAGNESIUM, AND CALCIUM, THAT GIVE IT AN ORIGINAL PINK TINT.

BIO SALT BY PURELLA COMES FROM CERTIFIED SUPPLIERS AND THE CONCENTRATION OF HEAVY METALS AND PESTICIDES, THAT IT COULD INCLUDE, IS IN COMPLIANCE WITH CURRENT EU STANDARDS. CONTRARY TO THE TABLE SALT, THE HIMALAYAN SALT DOES NOT CONTAIN ANY ANTICAKING AGENTS. THUS, IT IS CONSIDERED MORE NATURAL.

An element of healthy diet

Change the table salt to the Himalayan

The Himalayan salt, consumed in limited amounts, constitutes a component of a healthy diet. Sodium, of which the salt is mainly composed of, is a trace element, necessary for the proper functioning of your body. After an exhausting practice, water is not enough to rehydrate you well? Add a pinch of salt and you will quickly regain an electrolyte balance. Thanks to sodium, your muscles can contract and relax.

This element prevents an excessive lowering of blood pressure.

The Himalayan salt in your healthy diet

Although your body cannot operate fine without sodium, the contemporary diet contains too much of it. Salt, as a good preservative and flavor enhancer, is added even to neutral and sweet products. The pure Himalayan salt containing additional elements, recognized as crucial to your body, can be replaced with the table salt you have been using so far. 1 teaspoon of the Himalayan salt includes less sodium (fewer crystals fit the teaspoon), and the salt itself is more salty, as compared to the iodized one. To reach the same taste, use it in smaller quantities.

Use the Himalayan salt in place of the table one – season your dishes with it on an everyday basis. However, if you wish to stay healthy, limit salt consumption down to 1 teaspoon a day.

DID YOU KNOW?

The Himalayan salt contains such elements as potassium, magnesium, and calcium. Though it lacks iodine, with which the table salt is enriched. Iodine is in charge of the proper functioning of the thyroid and adequate cellular metabolism. Using the Himalayan salt, deliver yourself iodine from other sources, for instance, fish and algae.
